Experiential Learning is the process of Learning by Doing. It is typically self guided, and asks students to reflect on their experience. Most of this is helpful to connect classroom learned knowledge to real-world situations, helping to better equip students in the future.

This is why science classes have students working in a lab rather than practicing theory.

It is the opposite trend of [[Passive Learning]], and is parallel to [[Active Learning]] and is a core component of [[Learning Theory]]
